What All Nonprofits Should Know About Corporate Philanthropy

While some may think corporate philanthropy means writing a check and calling it a day, many corporations seek multilayered, strategic partnerships with nonprofits that fall in line with their core business objectives.

In order to make the most of this style of corporate philanthropy, nonprofits need to change the way they look at the support they can receive from companies. Rather than view the relationship as a one-way contribution from the corporation, nonprofits need to recognize the wide range of corporate needs they are in a unique position to fulfill. By doing so, nonprofits can build robust, mutually beneficial relationships with companies.

However, like most things, that’s much easier to say than it is to execute. How can you get started?
