$3,854,107 Granted By RMHC to Improve Health and Wellbeing of Children Through Innovative Train-the-trainer ProjectIn December, RMHC granted $3,854,107 to nine organizations focused on directly improving the health and wellbeing of children through innovative train-the-trainer projects. These Global Grant investments extend the geographic reach of the Charity furthering its impact by moving dollars quickly to vulnerable populations who lack basic healthcare, resources and services.Ìý

In 2013, RMHC established new relationships and extended existing ones by partnering with Burma Humanitarian Mission, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Concern Worldwide, Curamericas Global, East Meets West, Global Healing, Jhpiego, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, Lwala Community Alliance, and Oral Health ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ.Ìý

By partnering with these organizations, RMHC is making a tangible, sustainable impact on population health by curbing disease rates, improving sanitation and hygiene, reducing infant and child mortality rates, and opening the door to basic pediatric medical and oral health care to vulnerable communities. Ìý

Through these projects, RMHC will impact more than 1,000,000 children across the world.Ìý
