Our Cause
Signature Theatre broadens and brightens the region’s cultural landscape with bold productions of challenging new and established works and engaging education and outreach programs.
Our Impact
- Signature employed more than 700 artists and crafts people during the 2022/23 season
- Signature reached more than 6,500 middle and high schools students in classrooms from 13 schools across the Washington, D.C. region
- Ten graduates of Signature’s arts training programs were featured on the Theatre’s stages in 2022/23; Two graduates from the program were cast in Broadway productions this year.

A gift between $100 and $250 helps underwrite tickets for 10 students to attend a student matinee production

Total Annual Pledge
($15 - $25 per pay period)
A gift between $100 and $250 and $650 helps underwrite teaching artist expenses for instructors to serve more than 5,000 students from 13 area schools
$780 - $1300
Total Annual Pledge
($30 - $50 per pay period)
A gift between $780 and $1,300 supports a fellowship for a students in Signature’s Overtures Musical Theatre Institute.

Designed to empower donors and employers to support ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ nonprofit members through workplace giving or as a stand-alone donation option, each fund focuses on a specific cause and features a selection of vetted ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ members working directly to address that cause.
Each donation to a fund is distributed equally between the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµâ€™s Charities nonprofit members featured in the fund. By supporting one or more of these funds, individuals and corporations alike can make a direct, meaningful difference.
