Repairing Homes, Revitalizing Communities, Rebuilding Lives
Our Impact
- RTMC is the only nonprofit in Montgomery County, Maryland that provides free critical home repairs to low-income homeowners.
- The average annual income of a family served by RTMC is only $22,000.
- This past year 73% of homeowners served were people of color with the majority being women homeowners.

$100 - $250
Total Annual Pledge
($5 - $10 per pay period)
$100 provide grab bars to allow two families with children who have disabilities to safely access the bathroom or $100 installs brighter lighting in a hallway to help an aging homeowner better navigate her home.
$250 - $650
Total Annual Pledge
($15 - $25 per pay period)
$300 provides a new front door to keep a struggling single mom and her kids safe or $500 replaces a broken stove to ensure an isolated senior can cook a hot meal.
$780 - $1300
Total Annual Pledge
($30 - $50 per pay period)
$1000 provides exterior handrails to allow a homeowner with disabilities to exit his home safely or $1300 converts a tub to a shower to allow a homeowner in a wheelchair to bathe more safely
