Light a Virtual Candle for the Brave Men and Women of Law Enforcement

Celebrating Police Week Virtually: May 14 – May 20, 2023

Since the first known line-of-duty death in 1786, more than 22,000 U.S. law enforcement officers have made the ultimate sacrifice.ÌýNational Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial FundÌý(NLEOMF)Ìýis a principal organizer ofÌý, alongsideÌýConcerns of Police Survivors and the Fraternal Order of Police/Fraternal Order of Police AuxiliaryÌý(FOP/FOPA).

Historicaly taking place each May in Washington, D.C., NLEOMF will commemorate Police Week 2024 with virtual events that can be viewed from anywhere in the world.
