Florida Hospital Opens Dedicated Kids’ Bone Marrow Transplant Center

Kids Beating CancerThis week, is celebrating the opening of the Kids Beating Cancer Pediatric Transplant Center.Ìý This means that children in Central Florida who need a life-saving bone marrow or stem cell transplant can now have their procedures performed locally at a center just for kids.Ìý

The new center is named for its benefactor, , an Orlando-based nonprofit that helps kids get access to life-saving care to combat more than 70 diseases, including a variety of cancers, leukemia, and sickle cell anemia. to read more.
